Thank You, Taylor Library (and Air Conditioning)

Had the BEST time at the Taylor Community Library tonight. Honestly, I’m always a little shocked when people actually show up to see me, but somehow they do, and I always end up having the greatest time.

I got to tell stories, talk about writing and the characters I’m obsessed with, and laugh way too much. I sold out of books! I made new friends, caught up with old ones, and had to be dragged out by my husband and kids because the library was closing and I was still talking. (Shocking, I know.)

Also—it was air conditioned so, lucky for everyone in attendance, my eyebrows didn’t melt off.

I’m going to make a list of the songs we talked about and post it later!

Thank you again. Dreams don’t come true in a vacuum. You’ve all done this for me—and I’m so, so grateful.
